weber high class of 1990

June 26th we attended Mark's 20 year high school reunion at Union Station in Ogden. Where does time go? We don't seem old enough to be attending a 20 year reunion, but I guess one of us is. It was a fun night. I'm glad Jenny and Lynette were there, it made the evening nice for the spouces as well having people we know to talk to. I think Mark enjoyed the evening, but in hindsight probably would have attended the alumni-only night as well. It was a fun way to spend a hot summer night. I think all three of the alumnus we attended should be proud of where they are after 20 years. They're all great guys and I'm glad to call them (and their wives)friends. The night would have only been better if the Lunds could have joined us. . .

nestle 5k

My boys rock! I am so proud of Noah and Ben. Mark had a boy-trip planned with his buddies over the weekend, but our kids still wanted to run the Nestle Art City Days 5k. Ben was the big motivating factor. Last year he ran and caught a few rides in the double jogger, while Noah did the whole thing. This year he wanted to do the whole thing himself. So I told them I would take them without Mark. We left our home before 5:30am to make it to the race. The boys were great. Noah kept getting ahead of Ben and me, so I finally told him to just run ahead. So he ran about half of it by himself. Ben and I ran together and I pushed Timmy. Ben was so proud to have done the whole thing himself. We didn't get any good loot this year in the drawing, but we did walk out with a couple of frisbees and our bags of goodies. We were happy that two of our favorite cousins (Heidi and David) and their families were there with us. It made for a fun morning. Unfortunatly I didn't bring the camera down to the field during the drawing, so our only photo is of the boys is in the van after we finished.
